The Whisky Shop team asked us to co-create an environment within their shop that would allow them to showcase their products, and also enable clients to be immersed in the world of wines and spirits. The overall project design had to blend in with the existing ceiling and floor designs at their selected space. We used repurposed pine wood in the curved shelving and barrels, combined with metal framing for an industrial-rustic aesthetic that was durable. The barrels reinforced the theme of the whisky shop, and provided a clever storage addition. The project was successful, the shop environment is easy to navigate without distractions and encourages exploration. The project is versatile and these shelves are easy to demount and relocate.
